Yesterday mama took Luna to the vet for some scabs that she's had on her back. She's become obsessive about licking them and they just haven't been healing. When I got home from the Friday hike we found Luna on the couch with a shaved back and a cone on her head :-( Get well soon Luna!

(Summer) Friday Hikes

Yesterday we went on our first Friday hike of the summer. It was pretty fun. I got to run around with my friends Zahra and Fin. And ofcourse playing in the waterfall was pretty fun too.

Pompano Beach

We just got back from our summer vacation at Pompano Beach where we spent the fourth of July. Mama and daddy were a little hesitant on us going but in the end decided that it would be ok and that my chicken pox scabs were healing nicely. I'm really gald too. It was awesome going to the beach and the pool. Also we met Mamaw, Grandpa Steve, Aunt Elizabeth and Uncle Russ, and Uncle Keith there. We did so many things in those few days that now I think I need a vacation from my vacation...

It's day 5 of the chicken pox and I'm still contagious as I got some new ones on my big two...I wonder how long it's going to take all these to crust over so I can play with my friends again?

Preschool Graduation

Mountain Sports Festival

Mountain climbing looks like a whole lot of fun and I got to try my hand at another rock wall this weekend at the mountain sports festival. I get a bit scared, but I think I'm going to keep trying it. :-)

Wizard of Asheville

We had a lot of fun at the members only night at the Health Adventure on Thursday! They opened two new exhibits: The Wizard of Oz and Eyes on Earth (which is all about satelites...) I thought they were both super fantastic :-) and can't wait to go again.

You Spin Me Right 'Round Baby

I could not get enough of this thing. It's basically a bucket/cup seat that's about 2 feet off the ground and when you sit in it your body weight makes it spin all by its self....it's AWESOME!!!!

A Months Worth of Update

Wow. Where have we been? Certainly not posting anything on the blog. Well if you've been wonding what we've been up to this last...oh month, that's what I'm here to tell you. :-)

Well March had us celebrating first daddy's birthday and later in the month, mama's. Mama took me to Lake Powatan for the first time this year on her birthday. It was a whole lot of fun. After that we went to Florida for part of Spring Break where we celebrated Easter with Abuelita and Unlce Tony. The rest of spring break we: hiked down to the river at the farm; pressure washed, sanded and painted the front porch; and spent some time out at Lake Powatan with some friends. This weekend we all went to the YMCA's Healthy Kid Day at Carrier Park. Ofcourse, we've also been hanging out at parks with friends and just generally having a lot of fun! :-)
