Happy Mother's Day Mama

First Holy Communion

Today I celebrated my First Holy Communion. My Abuelita, (GodFather) Uncle Tony, Mamaw, Mommy, Daddy, and Alexander all came too. Abuelita had bought my beautiful dress while she was in Acapulco this March. Her and her sister went shopping for it :-) It fit perfectly and I loved it

After the wonderful celebration at church we went out to lunch at PF Chang's and then home to play in the sunshine and nice weather.

Yellow/Green Belt Testing

Today I tested for my Yellow/Green belt in Tae Kwon Do. I was sick this Saturday when everyone else tested but luckily I was able to test after class today.

PS Uncle Tony and Abuelita got to watch since they had just gotten into town :-)

NC Zoo

I'm on spring break this week so on Daddy's day off of work we all packed up in the car and drove over to Asheboro to check out the NC Zoo. Dad has wanted to take me since I was in preschool but it's just never worked out. We got there early and spent the whole day walking around the zoo and checking out all the animals. Some of the animals were pretty active too.

This afternoon was beautiful, so between school and Tae Kwon Do, Mom took us to wonder around and have a snack at the Biltmore Estate gardens. Check out a few of the pictures we took…

Harlem Globetrotters

For mommy and daddy's birthday we went to see the Harlem Globetrotters. They were super cool. They spun the ball on their fingers and heads, kept passing super fast so the other team couldn't get it, dribbled while spinning on the floor, jumped over other players, and hung off the basketball hoop when they dunked the ball :-)
We got an official Harlem Globetrotters basketball and got it signed after the game!!

Happy Birthday Daddy

We celebrated Daddy's Birthday (and St Patrick's Day) this afternoon out at The Bywater. Daddy grilled some food, the grownups chatted, and the kids ran around playing. After everyone had eaten we went inside to sing "Happy Birthday" and ate the wonderful cake and cupcakes that  Mommy made. Afterward Daddy opened our present! (Alexander and I got him a big Yoda)

March Birthday Hike

Another March birthday hike :-) 

This year we hiked out to Catawba Falls. Daddy didn't get to go, but Mommy did. Hattie and I had a really great time hiking together and climbing on the rocks. We had to stay out of the water though since it was really cold. After the hike we all went and had a great lunch too.

Park Time

Mommy, Alexander, and I have been spending a lot more time at parks now that the weather is starting to show signs of spring time. We take full advantage of the warmer days. Today being one of those warmer days we went for a walk down to the neighborhood park where Alexander and I love to play in the tunnel slide :-)
