HP Style Birthday

My 10th Birthday Party was today out at the Mills River Picnic Area. The afternoon was drizzly for a bit but that cleared and we all had fun tubing down the river. We had made everyone a wand. Also, everyone got a Marauder's Map, Book of Potions and a Book of Spells. Dad did a great Potions Class  too with potions right out of our Book of Potions :-)

Thank you to everyone that made it happen <3 p="">

Washington DC Trip

Check out Isabella's blog for a post about our trip to Washington DC

Washington DC Trip

We just got back from a week long trip in Washington, DC!!!

First off, I started the trip with a TKDI Bootcamp in Goochland Virginia. My very first overnight camp (without Mom or Dad). The bootcamp was a lot of fun and I can't wait to do it again next year. At the end of the weekend, Mom, Dad, and Alexander picked me up and we drove the rest of the way to DC. We stayed the first half of our trip with Dad's Aunt Grace and Uncle Chip (they let us play in their hot tub) and the second half with some old friends from Asheville, the Blacklows. DC was amazing!!! Everday was fun filled and packed with activity. We went up the Washington Monument, rode the Metro, went to the Air and Space Museum and the Museum of Natural History, had lunch with Dad's cousin Joey at the Native American Museum, walked the monuments (day and night), went to the National Zoo, saw the White House, went on a tour at the Bureau of Engraving, rode the carousel, ate dinner in Chine Town....oh my gosh we did a lot...
We also took a ton of pictures, so here is a collage of just a few.
