First days of Spring

The first days of spring are here, and I've been playing outside everyday!! I'm nearing my 19 month birthday in a few days. Everybody keeps saying that it's hard to believe that I'm already a year and a half old. I'm also saying more and more words everyday and am putting two words together...my first one was "fall...down" :-) Like always, here are more pictures.

Pictures from this weekend

Here are some more pictures from our weekend in Florida.

Weekend at Abuelita's

We just got back from our weekend in Lake City. Dada had Thursday and Friday off for his "early" spring break so we headed down to see my Abuelita. Dada had some friends, Josh and Marni, that were getting married on Saturday too. Well, it was a BLAST!! I LOVED spending time with my "Alli" and "Toe-loo". The wedding was pretty fun too. Mama and I got to meet a lot of dada's old Gainesville friends. There may be some more pictures up later...so check back.
PS I can't wait for dada's spring break and another trip to Florida!! :-)

My Godmother is Engaged!!

My Godmother, Amie (or Mamie, as I call her) and Justin came up to Asheville this weekend to visit. Justin surprised her with reservations at the Grove Park Inn and proposed to her on Saturday morning. She said "yes". This is a picture of all of us celebrating at the GPI.
I was really happy to see my Godmother and spend some time with her. Oh, and I heard her and mama talking about me being the flower girl!! :-)
So, congrats to my "Mamie" and Justin!!

Graduation Day!

I graduated my first Kindermusik Village class today!! I passed with flying colors too. The Village class was really fun. It was the Zoombuggy and Dream Pillow series. There were a lot of boys and girls my age. Now that I'm nearly 18 months old, the teacher said I can move up to the next class: Our Time. Mama and I are really excited and it'll be fun watching the older kids :-)
Mama took a picture of my certificate for everyone to see.

Second Christmas

My Abuelita and Uncle Tony came up this past weekend. We had a great time as always. And the weather was so great. On saturday we walked to the park and I ended up falling asleep in my wagon on the way back home. Afterward, Uncle Tony introduced me to Cold Stone :-) (Thank you Uncle Tony!!)

Playing in my playroom...New Year's Eve

Christmas

It's taken a little while, but here is my Christmas post :-)

This year my Mamaw, Grandpa Steve, Aunt Elizabeth, Uncle Keith, and Maw came up for Christmas. On Christmas day, my Great Uncle Eddie and his family also came over. We had a great time opening gifts ALL morning long. My mamaw got me a TMX, which I was scared of at first, but now he's all right. And my mom and dad gave me my very own playroom with a climber and an art desk!!

Check out the pictures on Shutterfly.

Vail, CO

We're back! (for a few days now). Uncle Tony, gave mama her Christmas present and flew us all out to Vail, CO. It was so amazing to see the rockies. I didn't get to do any snowboarding (maybe next year), but all the "grown-ups" did. We flew into Denver, which was pretty cool too. Oh, and I was GREAT on the plane. Flying didn't bother me one bit. This was the best picture we had on our camara....Uncle Tony has the rest of them.

ArtSpace Holiday Party

Tonight was dada's ArtSpace holiday party. We all got dressed up in our "formal" attire. There was so much good food and a lot of people that I know from being at school with dada. We all had a great time :-)

Growing Quickly

Mom and dad took me for my 15th month Wellness exam today. :-( Everything was going fine...they weighed me (26 lbs. with a diaper and onesie on), took my temperature, measured my length (31-1/2 inches), mom and dad talked to the doctor (mostly about my weight and belly)...BUT then this other lady came in and gave me TWO shots :-( It was horrible! I cried and screamed. The other doctor came out of her office to make sure everything was okay. My mom and dad calmed me down though. The good news from it all is that those were my last shots until I am 4 years old and that seems very far away.

Hiking the Looking Glass

Last weekend I "hiked" the Looking Glass with my dada, Tommy and Shannon. Mama couldn't go because she had a lot of work to catch up on. It was a long hike; it took most of the day, but the view from the top was amazing. I hope to go back with mama some day. Posted by Picasa
