Strawberry Fields Forever

On the way back up from Florida we stopped at Rutland Farms in Ga and went strawberry picking. It was a lot of fun and the strawberries were amazingly delicious.

Easter 2011

We just got back from Abuelita's house for our Easter weekend. It was a quick trip, but it was nice. On Easter Sunday the Easter Bunny hid all our eggs and I went around Abuelita's house trying to find them. At church Alexander got baptised (I was his Godsister...) and I got to go on another Easter egg hunt. Later that day Uncle Tony set up my swimming pool and we hung out with some friends.

Easter Egg-stravaganza

This weekend we went to the Easter Egg-stravaganza at Carrier Park. I got to go on inflatables, make a mask, get my picture with the Easter Bunny, and go on a crazy easter egg hunt...did I mention I got to do all this with one of my school friends...it was SO much fun. :-)

Spring Soccer

Soccer season started yesterday. I'm on the Camels this season. The first game was a lot of fun :-)

Day Trip to Biltmore

Yesterday was daddy's last day of paternity leave so mama and daddy thought we'd do something special...they picked me up from school early and we all went and hung out at the Biltmore House. Mama and daddy had been before, but I hadn't (and neither had Alexander). The house is HUGE!!! When we got there we had a picnic out in the side lawn, then we walked around the greenhouses, and then did a self guided tour of the house. It was a beautiful day and we all had a wonderful time. I hope to go back one day and hike some trails or ride my bike :-)

Big Sister Earrings

I almost forgot to post about this...when Alexander was born mama and daddy gave me a big sister present...can you guess what it was?? HOOP EARRINGS!!! I love them :-)

First Report Card

I got my very first report card today and I got all S's (which stands for satisfactory)!!! Mommy and daddy are very proud of how well I am doing in school :-)

He's finally here!! After 9 months of waiting I finally got to find out that I'm a big sister to a baby brother!!!!!

Snow Day Activities

What do you do on a snow day?? Well....

First we woke up and mama made some delicious pancakes with strawberries and powdered suger (no pictures of that, sorry), then she made me some puff paint to paint with, then daddy and I went out and played in the snow and went for an adventure, after that we came in to a yummy lunch (thanks again mama), and finally mama and I made rice krispie treats :-)...then mama had to cook dinner. All that was just on Monday too!! Today daddy took me sledding with some friends while mama was at work. Well see what tomorrow brings as they have already cancelled school.

Snow Days

We just got off of winter break and already we've had 2 hours delays and early realease last week. And this week, we've had snow days yesterday and today so far. Just exactly when are we going to be in school? Don't get me wrong though, I've been enjoying the snow and "sleeping in".

I'm going to try to stay up tonight to watch the ball drop...we'll see how it goes. Right now I'm going strong though. There's 2 1/2 hours to go...

White Christmas

We woke up Christmas morning to it snowing and it never stopped all Christmas day long. I was a little to preoccupied with all my new toys to go out and play in it, but there was even more on the ground the day after Christmas and we went out and had a great time in it :-)
