I was off from school on Friday and Monday so mom took Alexander and me to visit Abuelita in Lake City. We brought our bikes. I spent a lot of time riding my bike up and down Abuelita's street. It was fantastic!!!

Today I turned 9! Wha-who!

Isabella's 9th Birthday Party

We celebrated my 9th birthday a few days early today out at Montreat Park. It started to sprinkle/rain as soon as it was party time and continued to do so on and off thru the party but we had a lot of fun anyway. My friends and I played in the creek and found fish and snails. Then we did a dinosaur dig where we had to find dinosaur bones. We almost didn't find the last one but right towards the very end of the party my friend Mina found the last bone, the tail bone. This year I asked mom to make my birthday cake and it was better then I thought it would be. She made a volcano and dinosaur land chocolate cake :-) Thank you everyone who came out in the rain to celebrate with me. It truly was a "marvelous day".
