My Trip to Florida

We are back! Well, we've been back since Sunday but I've been pretty busy and mom and dad too. Anyway...our trip to Florida was AWESOME!! We spent Easter weekend in Lake City with my Abuelita and Uncle Tony then we headed down to Boca Raton where we stayed with my Mamaw and Grandpa Steve. I also got to visit with Grandpa Anderson and A LOT of other family and family friends. Mom and dad took me to the beach on morning. I had a great time. The water was so clear I could see to the bottom. The sand was pretty fun to play with too. We left Boca and headed back home on Saturday. Mom and dad decided to make a stop in Lake City and we went to the Rios house. I met Gabriella and Sophia there. They are pretty cool girls! Here is a link to my pictures from S. Florida. Mom is waiting for Uncle Tony to give her the pictures from Easter. She'll post them soon.

Jerry Sienfeld

I have had one busy week and to end the week...we went to see Jerry Sienfeld at the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium here in town. :) It was great! Jerry actually spoke with me and my parents. It all started when Mom got on ebay and just out of curiosity searched for tickets. Well she found some for half the price and Dad bought them. We were in the third row orchastra left with a direct view of center stage. In the middle of one of Jerry's jokes I decided to talk and yes, he noticed me. He asked if I was a boy or girl, how old, and made references to us during is marriage and kids bits. After that I feel asleep. But as we were walking out people were pointing at us and wispering, "That must be the 7 month old."

Go Asheville Tourists!

"Take me out to the ball game,Take me out with the crowd.Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack,I don't care if I never get back,Let me root, root, root for the home team,If they don't win it's a shame. For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out,At the old ball game."

We went to the first game of the Asheville Tourists last night. There were so many things to watch! They had these "mascots" come out and dance and do all sorts of crazy stuff. I got to take my picture with the official Asheville Tourists mascot though.

Chimney Rock!

Today was the best! My abuelita and uncle Tony are here for my uncle and mom's birthday. Since it was such a beautiful day outside my mom decided to take us all to Chimney Rock. She called up my Godmother, Amie, and her boyfriend Justin and invited them along too. The view from the chimney is amazing. I've never seen anything like it (then again, I'm only 7 months old). While we were up there I was checking out the flag. And the wind in my hair felt really good. :) I hope we go back one day with my dad too and hike some.

Maw and Mamaw Visit!

Today my Maw and Mamaw drove down from the farm to come and visit me for the day. It was really nice seeing my mamaw. I hadn't seen her since I was born. They brought me some new clothes and some really awesome shoes that look like my mommas :) Posted by Picasa

Snow in Spring

It's March 25th and it's snowing outside? Isn't Spring? Well anyway, Mom had bought me this REALLY warm hat way back when winter started but it was a little to big for my head. Then ofcourse the weather was getting warmer and we didn't think I'd ever get to wear it. BUT, since it's snowing outside I got to finally wear it :) I got SO many compliments today. Everwhere I turned (or rather my mom and and dad turned me), someone was saying how beautiful I was. Take a look for yourself....

First Food Feeding

My parents have finally decided that I'm old enough to try some real food. This afternoon for super they pureed some baby and let me taste it. I must say...It was GREAT! This is what I've been missing out on? I have a feeling that this food thing is going to work out just fine.

I love bananas!

My Abuelita's House

We made it! After a very long drive, we finally arrived at my abuelita's. She was at the door ready to greet us. I wasn't sure about everything at first, I just wanted my momma to hold me. But then I got used to it all and had some fun. I didn't know that this was the house that my mom lived in. It was pretty neat seeing her room and some of her baby pictures. We leave Monday for Asheville.

Trip to Lake City

I'm on my first trip to Lake City, Florida to see my Abuelita. My Uncle Tony came up to Asheville and picked up me and my mom. My dad had to stay home and work today and Monday so he couldn't come. On the way down we made a pit stop at the Atlanta Aquarium. There were SO many kids and parents there. The fish were pretty cool. I bet Luna and Jenny would like this place a lot!

Play TIme Outside

Spring is around the corner and today was a preview. The sun was out and shining brightly. I asked mom if we could go outside and play since it was such a nice day. The sun was so bright though it was bothering my eyes but luckly mom had my sunhat. That made things a lot better. And it was protecting my delicate baby skin.
Luna and Jenny came out to play with us also. They are fun to watch outside. They eat the grass and play with leaves. It tried grabbing some grass and dirt but mom quickly put me back in the middle of the blanket. Oh well, I tried.

New Years Eve

We went downtown to go play in the snow. It was pretty "cool". I got to stand in it (with some help ofcourse).

Afterward we went home. Tommy and Shannon, and Amie and Justin came over to celebrate the new year with us.

I got to stay up late and watch the ball drop!!

CHRISTMAS!!!!!!

Where do I even begin?!?!?! Today was....magical? Is that the right word? There was a tree with lots of gifts from Santa, Mom, Dad, Mamaw and Grandpa, Uncle Tony and Abuelita, Uncle Keith and Aunt Elizabeth.....I've never seen anything like it! Not even on my month birthdays. Uncle Tony and Abuelita came up from Florida to spend the day with me. My Grandpa Anderson came up too. We opened gifts for the longest time. I even took a little nap :) I got lots of clothes and toys! I must have been a really good girl this year ;)

Thank you Santa and everyone for all the gifts.
